I Say We Steal This TV!

2. Why so called?
We were looking for a new band name as we found our first name My Devotion seemed to put us in the category of christian rock, which we are not at all. as we were thinking of a name our friend just happened to look at a TV and said "i say we steal this tv" and thus giving us our new name

3. Where From?
Hertfordshire, from different towns in herts - knebworth, stevenage, hitchin, letchworth, royston

6. How long have you been together?
almost 2 years

7. You are influenced by, or would appeal to fans of….?
we are influenced by many different bands and our music is too wide to say who will like it, it's music for anyone. the word mainly used for us is alternative, but it's such a vague word.

fun lovin' people :D

9. Any recordings?
3 tracks up on our myspace, a demo cd released in jan 2006 and an ep released in sep 2006

10. What makes you different?
we make music how we want and don't conform to what others want us to do. we don't hold ourselves back.

11. A song you wish you’d written?
the song i wish we had written would be "planning a prisonbreak" by "the receiving end of sirens"

12. Which of your songs is most likely to be a hit?
sound the alarm, it has been in the top 10 for the local homesounds chart for 9 weeks

13. Career highlight?
playing in germany, selling out HFC, playing in london, being on homesounds chart top 10 for 9 weeks

14.Any good gig stories?
i could bring up the amount of times that mark went to the toilet before we played in germany (he was nervous) it was about 16 times i think... ok it's not really the best gig story, but my mind is blank and that's all i can think of right now.


15. So the moral of this story is....
make sure you go to the toilet before going onstage :S

16. Gigs coming up?
we are taking a break over summer to get new songs together and get our live set sounding as perfect as possible.
