Hollywood Actress is made up of the following:

Rafael Mastrangelo - Guitar/Vocals
Joseph Helm - Drums
José Mastrangelo - Bass/Backing Vocals

Average age is 25 and are based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

HA sound have been compared to PAW and Rush, with their short sharp guitar riffs and changes of tempo, but topped with a modern edge.

HA cite a range of musical inspiration and influences including Foo Fighters, Mourning Widows, Population 1, Muse, Cold Play, Blink 182, Bloc Party, Silverchair, Jimmy Eat World, Chilli Peppers and many more.

HA are different as we provide a more honest and melodic form of rock than some of the more self conscious bands out there at the moment.

Most useful advice received was "If you are not in it for the music, your going to hate it".

To choose 3 songs we would most like to record. If you are talking about
songs from other artists three would be: 1) 'Stockholm Syndrome' by Muse
for
its energy and awesome guitar and base riff 2) Drama Gods 'Nice to meet
you',
for its fantastic chord changes 3) Blink 182's 'Feeling this', for it's
unique solo drum intro.

Career high so far is definately being chosen to play Guilfest this
summer. Playing Guilfest is a great opportunity for us to play our stuff to a
large and lively crowd who won't have heard us before and to increase our
fan base.
