| ‘March is Coming,’ the band’s first EP, moves from fast-paced piano melodies to chaotic, forceful guitar riffs. But whether in the midst of driving guitar or soothing piano, all the songs seem to carry an overall feeling of hope, that there is calm that comes after the storm.
‘March is Coming’ was recorded in November 2010 in Northern Ireland. It was produced by Tre Sheppard at Zerohours Studios and mastered by
Nathan Dantzler at The HitLab in North Hollywood, CA. The album was released on March 4th and is available on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.
Evergreen started in 2009, starting off as a friendship formed while working together at a charity focused on youth in the UK and Europe. The guys began writing music in their spare time, which turned into some local gigs for friends. They decided to take the writing further in September 2009, recording the 6-track demo “Some Things Stay the Same”. After the demo release, Evergreen began touring full time, playing shows in Cardiff, Blackpool, Brighton and other venues in the Hertfordshire area. They also appeared on radio Cardiff 98.7, Manchester 96.9 All FM, and BBC Three Counties Radio.
After the release of ‘March is Coming’ Evergreen has continued touring full time. In 2011 they played just under 50 shows and traveled all over the UK. Evergreen is looking forward to performing shows, radio stations and festivals all throughout the UK. Look out for their new album coming out July 2012. |
