Biog
| The Higher Craft are a 4 piece female fronted experimental psychedelic, progressive rock band, based in Chadwell Heath,Romford. The band consists of members from the early 80's free festival movement the "Magic Mushroom Band" Craig Twining on guitar. Along with the shroom they have a sprinkling of black pepper in the form of J.D.Tait, songwriter for the UK's biggest and best known experimental, extreme black metal knights "The Meads of Asphodel". A bass wizard in the form of 18 yr old Charlie Noakes Combined with Christina Poupoutsi an actress, lyricist and dramatist that sings, and you have yourself a very interesting journey with sound. The Higher Craft are set to weave their magic into superconsciouness over the planet once again with the delivery of their 2nd album due for release autumn 09. After THC's highly praised and successful debut album "MAGIC BOX" in 08, the psychedelic movement underground has never quite been the same. The soundwaves from the craft echo into shapes & movements that change direction into a re-evolved evolution, futurised with the photographic visions that allow the listener to travel back into the future of deeper realms once forgotten. The outcome in effect therein allows us to remember. If it all seems to be a bit of a riddle,then you'd be correct for the answer lies with Alice the bands guiding light. THC take their musical navigational instructions from Alice as she steers the craft in her pursuit of the white rabbit. All onboard enter the destined purpose of it's creation, the psychedelic Re-evolution that is to come. THC leads you thru the curious pathways and patchwork fields to describe the sounds resonating from the techni-colour wonderland below. Their goal? To bring them to the surface into circles above. |
