Nickita has used her tenacity and drive to pursue the career she has always longed for. She has recorded a successful album with "Niteshade Music LTD " that she co-wrote and sang herself. In 2007 Nickita gained the interest of a local radio station "Chiltern FM" where they featured a track of hers "Somebody hurt you too". After that, she moved to Spain for a while where she performed at local clubs where she was loved by many fans on the club scene and sold many albums there. In 2009 her music featured regularly on HERTBEAT FM on a show called "Hertbeat Unearthed". Nickita was pleased to receive fan mail from listeners and subsequent to this, was invited into the station to record a live acoustic version of her track "Broken glass" and enjoyed a fantastic response from this too. Her debut album was released on iTunes in April 2008. Her latest single "Enough", released in September 2011,' has enjoyed extensive radio play from stations such as Diverse FM, Maxdance radio and Vibe FM. After making a successful music video for her single "Enough", Nickita went to number 18 in the "Slack-time" dance music videos chart. Her music video was also featured on the NME website as well as numerous music blogs and other websites. "Enough" has also been entered into MTV's Brand New For 2012 competition. Currently Nickita is performing at several music venues around the UK and Europe. Nickita has gained the interest of several high profile DJ's such as "The Shapeshifters" and "2goodsouls" and has had her music played at several London nightclubs, with a great audience response. She has plans to work with producers "Specimen A"' and "Star Scientist" and is currently working with the very successful "DJ Bertrand" from Paris. Nickita has also been recording and performing acoustic versions of her songs alongside guitarist "Glyn Devey" with plans to release an acoustic EP very soon. Recently Nickita enjoyed an extremely successful performance at the famous Oxford Street venue "The 100 Club". She is to perform there again on the 20th January 2012. Nickita has also performed at The Dublin Castle in Camden, Bridgehouse2 in Canning town and she was recently invited to perform on the Mix 96 stage in Aylesbury for the christmas lights switch-on in front of 5000 people. Nickita has also been invited to perform at the famous Essex nightclub "Faces" for the launch of the popular style magazine "Style Compass" along with the Essex Fashion Week crew.
