| No Plan B are currently gigging in and around Cambridge. They have recently come out the studio recording the track "Monster Demon" which is to be included in the upcoming film "Zombie Daytrip". The single released internationally via iTunes in November 2008. Following the success of this debut track, iTunes promptly released their second single ‘AAU’ a month later in time for Christmas.
They spent the summer of 2008 honing their live sound. Playing at festivals with crowds of 20,000+ (Pink Festival), supporting major acts such as The Blockheads (Cambridge Rock Festival), and headlining at the Cupid Stunt Festival, where they have been confirmed as the headlining act for 2009.
No Plan B was formed in early 2007, bringing together an energetic mix of punk and Nu-grunge. Their sound is comprised of razor sharp guitar riffs and a vocal assault provided by C.J, backed up by Li's filthy bass riffs, and A.J's pounding rhythms. No Plan B's songs have been compared to the sound of Nirvana arguing with The Distillers, whilst making love to Evanescence.
Bored with the current trends on the local music scene, No Plan B set out to write catchy, unpredictable songs, which leave you wanting more, always wondering where the next chorus is going.
Anyone who can recall the first time they heard No Plan B will remember that instant hook that pulled them in, and the freshness, energy, and shear appeal of their sound. They offer something for everyone, and everything to some.
