Biog

From all corners of the world they tumbled into Barcelona in 2003, collided in its Mediterranean streets and have been stuck together ever since writing songs in French, Spanish and English. They began as a busking band and their stage shows maintain the raw, visually exciting, comic and flamboyant style of street entertainment. The band is an explosion of clarinets, saxophones, trombone, flute, melodica, accordion, voices, guitar, tuba, percussion and contrabanjo (a hand-made hybrid of a bass drum and electric bass). Gadjo is based in Barcelona but have toured extensively throughout Europe. If you're lucky you might catch them playing (where they are at their happiest - without the tangle of wires, the feedback of microphones) on Barceloneta beach.
