STEREOPHONICS
One of the UK's best loved rock bands, will perform a one-off 'intimate' gig at the Corn Exchange on Wednesday 13 August . Normally use to playing in the UK's arenas, the Welsh three-piece come to Cambridge as a warm up for their V Festival appearance.

Charity pop concert
Barkingside based children’s charity, Barnardo’s, and Barkingside Business Partnership are organising a charity pop concert at Barkingside Recreation Ground, Cranbrook Road, Barkingside this summer called Music in the Park. This family fun filled event will take place on Sunday 24 August 2008. Gates open at 1pm and the Music will start at 2pm
The day is aimed at local families who will be able to come and go as they please throughout the day once they have purchased a ticket
Adult tickets are £10 in advance and £15 on the day (if available) Children will be £5 or £7.50 on the day (if available) without adults. Family tickets are £20 in advanced and £30 on the day for two adults and two children (if available). Tickets can be bought online at www.barnardos.org.uk/musicinthepark
The music will be varied with local bands including Led Zep Too, Tin Soldier, The Heaters and the stars from The Commitments will be the headline act.
